What CargoPass is

CargoPass is an agent. We find rates and place bookings on your behalf. We are not a freight forwarder, not an NVOCC, and not the carrier of record for any shipment.

• We never take custody of cargo.
• We never issue a bill of lading or an air waybill in our own name.
• We never collect, hold or forward freight money.

The seller — the carrier, NVOCC or airline — carries the freight, issues the transport documents, and invoices you directly. Their terms govern the movement of your cargo.

Benchmark rates

A benchmark rate is a published index or guide figure, labelled index and shown with its publisher and its as-of date. It is not an offer, not carrier space, and not a price CargoPass can hold. Published figures move, and a live quote for your exact cargo may sit above or below them.

Where we have no sourced figure for a lane, we say so and offer a live quote. We do not estimate freight numbers.

The free live lane rate

Ask and we reply within 24 hours with real seller options, or with a plain statement that nothing could be sourced and what was missing. It costs nothing and requires no card. It is information, not a booking, and it does not reserve space.

The $99 booking fee

One payment, one lane, any mode. It buys live multi-carrier sourcing for that lane, a written summary of the options, and coordination of one agency booking with the seller you choose.

The freight charge is separate, is set by the seller, and is invoiced by the seller to you. The $99 is the only money CargoPass takes. There is no spread inside the freight rate and no commission taken from you.

Refunds

If no seller will quote your lane, or we cannot place the booking, we refund the $99 in full and tell you plainly what was missing. Ask for a refund before we have sourced the lane and you get it, no argument.

Limits

CargoPass is not liable for loss, damage, delay, detention, demurrage, customs penalties or duty on your shipment. Those sit with the seller and with you under the seller's terms and your import obligations. Our liability is capped at the $99 booking fee you paid.

We do not give customs, tax or legal advice, and we do not verify whether your goods may lawfully be imported or exported.

Parcel-sized shipments

Under roughly 30 kg / 0.2 CBM, use a parcel carrier. We will tell you so and sell you nothing.
